IN WHICH TO PROMOTE  YOUR PRODUCT AND/OR COMPANY  TO THE WORLD

WHAT IS PROMOTION ?  

IT IS THE PROCESS BY WHICH YOU LET THE WORLD KNOW THAT YOU EXIST
YOU BECOME A THOUGHT WITHIN THE DEEP CORNERS OF THEIR MINDS
THEY BEGAN TO HEAR YOU WITH THEIR EARS 
FEEL YOU WITH THEIR SENSE OF TOUCH
AND TASTE YOU UPON THEIR TONGUES
AS THEY GO THROUGHOUT THEIR DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS
IN SOMEWHAT OF A QUANDARY
ASKING THEMSELVES AND THEIR COUNTERPARTS
WHO ARE THESE GUYS ? WHAT ARE THEY UP TO ? WHERE DID THEY COME FROM ?
AND WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO COME WITH ?

FOR IT IS ONLY THE TRUE MUSIC BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL THAT KNOWS & UNDERSTANDS
THAT IT IS NOT ABOUT WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW, BUT WHAT OR BETTER STILL, WHO GOT NEXT
FOR THROUGHOUT THE HISTORY OF THE RECORDING INDUSTRY
THERE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THOSE SONGS, ARTISTS AND LABELS
WHO WHICH HAVE MANAGED TO RIDE THE TIDE
WITH PRODUCT THAT IS JUST AS GOOD AS THE REST OF WHAT'S OUT THERE
BUT  EVERY NOW & THEN, THERE COMES SOMEONE WITH THAT SPECIAL SOMETHING
THAT KNOCKS THE INDUSTRY AND THE WORLD ON IT'S EARS WITH A NEW CONCEPT, SOUND OR PREMISE
THAT IN ONE WAY OR THE OTHER SENDS THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD

WOULD YOU BELIEVE THAT WHEN HE STARTED OUT, SOMEONE HAD THE NERVE
TO TELL JAY Z  THAT HE COULD NOT RAP
OR THAT SOMEONE HAD THE NERVE TO TELL MICK JAGGER THAT HE COULD NOT SING

MEANWHILE, THE STONES HAVE CONTINUED TO BE THE HIGHEST GROSSING ACT
FOR CONCERT TOURS ON A YEARLY BASIS WITH OR WITHOUT THE RELEASE OF NEW MATERIAL

ESTABLISHING A MARKETING PLAN IS NOT AS DIFFICULT AS ONE MIGHT THINK
SIMPLY  PUT,  IT IS JUST A MATTER OF RECOGNIZING AND REALIZING
WHAT YOU WANT TO SELL, WHERE WOULD IT BE BEST TO SELL IT,
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHO YOU WANT TO SELL IT TO

THE PRODUCT TO BE SOLD & WHERE TO MARKET IT

THIS POINT IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUR MARKETING PLAN
WILL DETERMINE WHERE YOUR PRODUCT SHOULD BE SOLD
AS WELL AS WHO IT SHOULD BE SOLD TO
MEANING THAT IF YOU ARE SELLING A PRODUCT THAT WHICH IS BEST SUITED
FOR A PERSON IN ONE REGION OF THE WORLD, COUNTRY OR COMMUNITY
THEN YOU SHOULD PACKAGE, ADVERTISE & PROMOTE IT AS SO

THE TARGETED DEMOGRAPHIC

SIMPLY  PUT,  IT IS THE PERSONS WHO WHICH YOU WANT TO SELL YOUR PRODUCT TO
AS PREVIOUSLY STATED, YOUR PRODUCT WILL DETERMINE WHO THEY ARE
YOUR GOAL HERE IS TO BE CERTAIN THAT YOU DISTRIBUTE
OR HAVE YOUR PRODUCT PLACED WHERE THEY CAN ACCESS IT

THE MAIN TWO THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN ESTABLISHING YOUR MARKETING PLAN
IS TO FIRST THINK OUT A SENSIBLE PLAN IN WHICH YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO SELL,
WHERE IT WOULD BE BEST TO SELL IT, AND WHO YOU WANT TO SELL IT TO
SECONDLY, YOU MUST NOT BE HINDERED BY FEAR OF FAILING
